i made these for my friend's birthday a while ago when i still had time to bake. sighh...i miss summer. i'm scared i won't be able to bake or cook at all now that i'm in college because of this ridiculous meal plan that they force on us and that just makes me want to all the more. i'm still going to try to experiment with new recipes as much as i can though. anyway, this recipe is from the cupcake deck. unfortunately, i was in a hurry so i spread the whipped cream on while it was still warm so it sort of melted but they were still realllyyy good.
mango sago
There's a place in Hong Kong I used to go to all the time for their sago (and many other irresistible asian desserts). but, of course, no such place exists here in the suburbs. so, this my attempt at recreating their mango sago. I wasn't exactly sure what is supposed to go into the soup/puree/cream stuff so I just alternated adding mango puree and coconut milk until i was happy with the consistency. mm makes me miss asia...
