lasagna
Ping made this lasagna for dinner the other night. layers of ricotta cheese, pasta strips, tomato sauce, fresh herbs, and topped with more cheese...yum.

mixed greens salad tossed with onions, oranges, dried cranberries, gorgonzola and an orange vinaigrette
mediterranean couscous salad cooked in lemon-infused chicken broth and mixed with dried cranberries, basil, and chopped pecans

that's just.. given. ice cream has always been and will always be a staple in my diet.
lemon-blueberry coffee cake
ahh..the lighting is so weird. but this was sooo soo gooood. coffee cake AND blueberries AND crispy almond top? dies
oh and did i mention the crispy almond top layer thing?
i think this might have been one of the pioneer woman's recipes but i'm not sure..
beaches and sunshine
I couldn't decide which one I liked better, so they're both here.
So, we went on this tour thing that took us kayaking and then hiking and finally to a waterfall. It ended up being a pretty dangerous trek because of the rain storm the night before. But it was fun nonetheless!
